Dana Freeman

Dana credits her Grandmother for inspiring her love of travel and travel writing.

Dana’s Grandma Mildred visited almost every country in the world, chronicling her travels in journals. When Dana was eleven her grandmother took her on her first cruise; at thirteen, Grandma Mildred brought her along on a business trip to Greece. Dana continued to travel with her Grandmother throughout her life and was there on her final trip to Italy at the age of 96!

Dana is addicted to travel and always enjoys visiting new locations. She began her travel writing career in 2010 exploring properties her home state of Vermont. She quickly broadened her coverage to include North America, Mexico, Europe and beyond.

Freeman has appeared on Huffington Post Live and contributes to the Forbes Travel Guide. Her work has been featured on Homeaway, Minitime, Ciao Bambino! and Yucatan Holidays among others.
